THE HOUSTON TEXANS
The Houston Texans finished last season with an 8-8 record.
The team's biggest issue was its defense, which gave up 394
points. The team returns in the 2009 season with much the
same issues. The weak side linebacker starting spot is being
hotly contested by Xavier Adibi, Zach Diles, and Cato June.
The safety spots are set with Nick Ferguson and Eugene
Wilson, which ahs some feeling a little bit queasy.
The offense is defined by the trio of quarterback Matt
Schaub, wide receiver Andre Johnson, and running back Steve
Slaton. The team could use a change of pace back behind
Slaton, but have little to offer. Right now Chris Brown
appears to be the best option. It would be nice to have a
great second receiver, but Schaub will have to make due with
Kevin Walter
George Strait
is one of the most popular male country
singers of our time. Unlike other superstars, George Strait
has primarily only played country music ever since he was in
a band called Hole in the
1970s.
While growing up in the small Texas town of Pearsall,
country music became a huge party of his life, especially
when he was stationed in Hawaii.
